Vermont Blues Player

Hey there. I’m Andre J. de Saint Phalle. I write about big dogs, home-grown medicines, epilepsy, arthritis, keto, happiness & spirituality. I was born in 1952 in NYC and moved to northern Vermont in 1997. Five years later I married Veronica, a native Vermonter.

Over the last near quarter century of living in Vermont I have been a snowboard magazine designer, a webmaster for two different major ski areas, established a public access tv station, and enjoyed a 7 year run working with my wife as portrait and wedding photographers. We have shared our lives with three golden retrievers (born in 1998, 2006, 2019) and a black lab (born in 2013). Hiking and kayaking with these awesome creatures has been an amazing gift.

Over the last few years I have faced a number of physical challenges (neck and wrist pain, thumb arthritis, frozen shoulder, nocturnal epilepsy, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, pre-diabetes) which led me to learn a lot about the many hidden dangers of the standard American diet and the amazing healing powers of medical cannabis. I am proud to say that I have since lost 90 lb.s, regained normal blood pressure and cholesterol levels, mitigated my arthritis, and controlled my epilepsy. I am on zero prescriptions. These improvements came from Eric Berg’s keto diet plan and Lily Hill CBD oil. I will have a lot more to say about all of these fantastic experiences in future newsletters. I feel deep gratitude to these wonderful people.

This is a media rich newsletter

I also share my photography, short films & original music.

My primary goal in producing this newsletter is to share my writing and artistic efforts with those who might appreciate them, and along the way build a small community. I welcome your comments, questions and suggestions. I will try to respond to each of you as best I can.
